Real Garcilaso ensures it will not lose 3 points
The management of Real Garcilaso announced that it is impossible for their team to lose the last three points it earned against Alianza Atlético, after the board requested the units due to a supposed bad registration of Paraguayan Carlos Neuman.
"Neumann's loan was originally until June 30, but his contract is registered with the ADFP until August 19. We even regularized this issue with Guaraní days before the match against Alianza Atlético," said Oswaldo Terrazas, legal advisor of the 'Celestial Machine', to Radio Ovación.
According to the aforementioned director of Real Garcilaso, last Friday, July 14, the FPF (Peruvian Football Federation) approved the extension of Paraguayan Carlos Neuman's loan.
The Cusco team is the absolute leader of the Apertura Tournament with 19 points, so a penalty with a loss of points could complicate their aspirations to win the title and consequently qualify for the Copa Libertadores as well.
