Italian World Cup champion Cristian Zaccardo uses LinkedIn to find a new contract
The right-back Cristian Zaccardo is currently without a team and has chosen to use social media to secure a new contract.
Winner of the 2006 World Cup with Italy, the 35-year-old player has created a profile on LinkedIn where he showcases his resume, which includes a Bundesliga trophy in 2009 with Wolfsburg, as well as his stints at Bologna, Spezia, Palermo, Parma, AC Milan, and Carpi.
"I have terminated my contract with Vicenza, which was until 2018. I am a free player, in good physical condition, and I can play at a high level for two more years. I am a serious professional," reads his profile.
