David Trezeguet visits Alianza Lima Stadium
The world champion in 1998 and European champion in 2000, David Trezeguet, arrived at Matute on Friday afternoon. He toured the Alianza Lima stadium, stepping on the field, the luxury boxes, and the dressing rooms, along with the French ambassador, Alianza's administrator Renzo Ratto, and the sports manager Gustavo Zevallos. Trezeguet was delighted with the Alianza's venue and took an unforgettable memory with him.
David Trezeguet confessed that he hopes to bring luck to Alianza Lima, the team currently leading in the Torneo Apertura, in order to win the championship. "I hope that with this visit, I can bring luck and they can become champions this year (smiles). The demands from its players, fans, and directors have made it the most important club in Peruvian football," said the former forward who played for Juventus, Monaco, River Plate, among others.
