New Cruz Azul Uniform

Every year, the story begins at this point: the presentation of the new uniform. Yes, one could say that this is the official kickoff for Cruz Azul, who presents themselves with renewed hopes, waiting for this to be their footballing year.

This evening, La Máquina has unveiled the attire they will wear during the Opening 2017 and Closing 2018 seasons, with the presence of the management, coaching staff, and all of the players on the roster.

This will be the fourth year of the partnership between Under Armour and Cruz Azul, which began in the Opening 2014 season. However, Cruz Azul is not the only team in Liga MX wearing their uniforms, as Toluca will also use sportswear from this brand.

The home uniform respects the traditional colors of Cruz Azul, with a royal blue jersey, white shorts, and socks of the same tone as the shirt. The away kit is white, both for the jersey and the socks, with the shorts in blue.

Cruz Azul's third kit will be black, just like the previous season.

The team's president, Guillermo Álvarez Cuevas, delivered the following words: "It is an honor for us to present this uniform, in the presence of our cooperative partners, our commercial partners, guests, and fans."

After the whole team paraded, coach Paco Jémez stated, "This jersey represents an entire club, a lot of people who have sacrificed many years of their lives. It is an honor and a pride for us to defend this jersey, because it holds many feelings, many smiles, many tears, many successes, many failures, a lot of hope, a lot of sacrifice. We must feel, that's the word, feel. If we are capable of feeling, we will be able to transmit. If we do it, we will make people excited. These jerseys are much more than a simple outcome."
