Despite being told by some that it was crazy to do so, Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps completed a great challenge: swimming alongside a great white shark, for the television network Discovery en Español.
"The experience was undoubtedly a great challenge," said Phelps, clarifying that his goal was not to beat the shark but to learn how they live.
"Many people think I'm crazy for diving into the water to do this, but I had all the safety measures in place and I felt very safe the whole time," he added.
