The Milan renews contract with Gianluigi Donnarumma

Milan announced on Tuesday the renewal of the contract of young Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, 18 years old, who extended his agreement with the Milanese club until June 30, 2021.

Milan confirmed the agreement in an official statement in which they defined the closing of this negotiation as "good news for the club, who strongly desired the signature and insisted to get it, for the kid, and for the fans."

The Milan club did not clarify the economic agreement reached with Donnarumma although Italian media estimate that the goalkeeper will earn around 6 million euros per season and will have a release clause of about 75 million euros.

After several weeks of speculation about the future of Donnarumma, who was also linked to Real Madrid, the goalkeeper decided to extend his relationship with the club where he was formed and made his debut in Serie A (First Division) at the age of 16.

In the last period, Donnarumma also rejected an offer of 13 million euros per season from Paris Saint Germain, which also offered him three luxury villas and three sports cars, according to Italian media.
