Claudio Pizarro has not been considered by Werder Bremen for the 2017/18 season and is looking for a new team. The 38-year-old forward has expressed his desire to continue playing in Europe for at least one more year.
During this week, the interest of Bremen SV from the fifth division of Germany and Fortuna Düsseldorf from Bundesliga 2 to secure the services of the 'Bombardero de los Andes' was known through a message on Twitter. But there is another team that spoke about the possibility of Pizarro joining their squad: Hannover 96.
The Manager of the newly promoted team to the 2016/17 Bundesliga, Horst Helt, declared in an interview with the Sport Buzzer portal that Claudio Pizarro "has no interest" in signing him for this season. The German media cited that two years ago, Hannover 96 showed interest in signing the forward but Bayern Munich decided not to let him go.
