Next July 15th, the High Performance Center 871 will celebrate its crossfit competition called 'Summer Games', where it is expected to gather around 300 competitors to compete for over 12,000 pesos in prizes.
This was announced by coaches Jazmín Jiménez, Daniela Urrutia, Samuel García, and Raúl Soto, who explained that the competition is for men and women of all ages in Crossfit CTX for Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced levels.
This is the first edition of the 'Summer Games', which will start at 9:00 AM at the facilities of the High Performance Center 871. There will be a winning category, which will be the one with the most repetitions.
The weight to be lifted will be determined by the percentage assigned in the corresponding activity, taking into account the competitor's weight to assign the load weight.
The tests at CTX are: Free Squat H 70 percent, M 70 percent, Chest Press H 55 percent/M 20 percent, Free Pull-Ups H/M, Military Press H 50 percent/M 15 percent, Preacher H 25 percent/M 10 percent, Free Tricep Dips and Abdominals H 20 percent/M 10 percent.
In Summer Games Crossfit, there will only be five exercise tests for Intermediate, Advanced, and Free levels.
The registration cost is 150 pesos for non-members and 100 pesos for members. Upon payment, participants will receive a Dry Fit shirt and will have the right to compete for the cash prizes, which in Intermediate Men's category will be 1,500, 1,000, and 500 pesos for the first three respectively.
For Advanced Men's category, the prizes will be 3,000, 2,000, and 1,000 pesos. For Women's Free category, the prizes will be 1,500, 1,000, and 600 pesos.
