Swiss Roger Federer returned to the courts to prepare for his return this Wednesday at the Stuttgart ATP 250.

After winning the Miami Masters 1000, Roger Federer decided to take a break from the courts. After more than two months, the Swiss player returned to training for his debut this Wednesday at the ATP 250 Stuttgart.

'Fed' stepped on German soil to start the grass season with eyes on the third Grand Slam: Wimbledon. The current number five of the ATP trained for 90 minutes alongside his friend Tommy Haas.

Precisely, the local player can face the Swiss player as long as he defeats Frenchman Pierre-Hugues Herbert in the first round. The veteran tennis player obtained a direct pass for being a seeded player and will only play in the second round.

"There are no more breaks. I've had enough breaks. I want to be the champion, so I will play a regular calendar in the second half of the season and it all starts here at the Mercedes Cup in Stuttgart," said Federer, who made his debut on these courts last season.
