Uvaldo Luna joins Atlas as a reinforcement for Apertura 2017

The midfielder Uvaldo Luna has become a reinforcement for Atlas for the Apertura 2017. Born in Texas, United States, but with Mexican nationality, Uvaldo made his debut on January 17, 2015 in the Liga MX playing for Tigres in a match against León. With the team from the North, he could only play four games in the First Division, so he decided to try his luck in Colombian soccer in 2016. He joined Patriotas de Boyacá, a club from the First Division of the South American country, where he scored seven goals in 19 games.

Luna, who is 23 years old, has played in several tournaments with youth national teams, such as Esperanzas de Toulon in 2013 and 2015; the U-20 World Cup in 2013, was runner-up in the Pan American Games in Canada in 2015 and champion of the U-20 Pre-World Cup in 2013.

Uvaldo arrives at Atlas on loan for six months and belongs to Tigres.
