Starting from the next tournament, Chivas TV will change its payment model and will form an alliance with an international platform to strengthen the offer to its subscribers, announced José Luis Higuera, CEO of Grupo Omnilife Chivas.
The entrepreneur revealed that the platform will have new content and an official announcement will be made in 20 days to inform who the digital alliance will be with.

"Despite the investment, the numbers are satisfactory and our alliance with a world-class player, a top platform, is important for the next tournament. We will make an announcement in about 20 days," he said in an interview with Ciro Gómez Leyva for Grupo Fórmula.

Higuera stated that the payment model will now be monthly, instead of per event or semiannual/annual. "The model is going to change a bit, it will be payment per event, and the following season will introduce a monthly fee."
Regarding the alliance with Televisa, he reiterated that it will continue until December 2019 and then the contract will be renegotiated, but the games will only be broadcasted on pay-per-view television.
