Last Friday, the AUF Inter-Guild met with its Executive after acts of violence occurred in a Third Division match between Rampla and Cerro. After the assembly, Telemundo spoke with the president of AUDAF, Marcelo de León. This is what he said:

"Next Tuesday, we will have a meeting with the Ministry of Interior. We will go and express our willingness to regain security in sports.

We believe that we will negotiate again with the police force".

The president of AUF, Wilmar Valdez, also spoke with Telemundo about the meeting they will have with the ministry on Tuesday.

"Things have happened that require rethinking. There is support for this from all the guilds of AUF.

I think, since it is such an important issue, there has to be an alternative".
