Miguel de Jesús Fuentes was sad after not winning the Clausura 2017 title of Ascenso MX, because in his opinion, the Bravos de Juárez were not accurate in the opposing goal.
"We lacked conviction, there in Puebla too, we had more chances to be more decisive, but Lobos did it, we couldn't, and that leaves us in second place today, sadly," commented the coach of the fronterizos.
Similarly, Fuentes was precise in saying that the refereeing mistakes in both Puebla and Ciudad Juárez affected them, as they were playing better, but in the end, it's the goals that matter and they couldn't convert.
"The important thing in this is to stay in the top positions, throughout my career I have always been up there; sometimes you realize that playing better doesn't always mean winning, it's the one who scores the goals, today Lobos did it. I believe we played a better game; however, we couldn't score and the circumstances of the refereeing influence in Puebla, here.
Finally, Miguel declared that he has done things well throughout his career as a coach, as he has taken all his teams to privileged positions and he believes that all his effort will be rewarded someday.
"Promoting a team would be ideal, the ideal is to stay in the top positions. In all the teams I have been in, I have qualified for the playoffs, sooner or later it will be achieved," he assured.
