Chivas TV and Cinépolis reach an agreement
When Chivas TV was announced in May 2016, one of the dreams of club owner Jorge Vergara was to reach cinemas across the country; 11 months later, it will come true.
WE RECOMMEND: Chivas returns to Televisa.
Chivas and Cinépolis, who already had a partnership with Cinépolis Klic, have reached an agreement to broadcast the team's home matches live in all cinemas nationwide.
The first match to be broadcast will be the Copa Mx final between Chivas and Morelia on April 19th. The agreement with Cinépolis will be for two years, until the Clausura 2019 tournament.
It was only in November 2016 that Chivas announced Cinépolis Klic as an alternative platform to watch the home games; another ally that Chivas TV has had is Claro Video, so the options to watch the team's matches grow with the return of Televisa, which was recently announced last weekend along with Las Estrellas (Latin America), TDN, and the Blim system.
