The goalkeeper Marian Andújar, Sergio Romero's substitute in the Albiceleste team, gave an interview to the Argentine program "Dos Contra Uno", where he stated that Lionel Messi should not go play with Argentina.
"I thought Leo would never come back, but he loves the national team a lot. He shouldn't come, why would you come? To be booed?" he expressed.
Andújar also expressed his opinion that the fans do not value the effort of the Argentine star.
"Nobody values him, everyone says he doesn't play the same as in Barcelona, that he doesn't have the desire," he reflected. "He said he wouldn't come back anymore, and until July 9th, everyone put up signs for Messi to come back."
The goalkeeper concluded firmly: "You don't realize what you have until you lose it."
